JESSE INSISTS JACKSON TRIAL IS UNFAIR
Outspoken black rights activist REVEREND JESSE JACKSON has blasted the authorities in the MICHAEL JACKSON child molestation trial for not including African-Americans in the jury.
The US politician fears Jackson will struggle to get a fair trial now the jury is made up of eight Caucasians, three Latinos and one Asian-American.
Jackson rants, "That jury does not have one African-American, as if we didn't have the right to vote. That's not true and that's not fair."
Jackson believes the pop star's attorney, THOMAS MESEREAU, should have fought harder for a diverse jury, and that his friend deserves a fairer trial.
He adds, "He deserves that, whatever the outcome may be."
