EDDIE IZZARD - IZZARD SET TO WOW WEST END IN CABARET

British comedian EDDIE IZZARD is being lined up to play SALLY BOWLES in a London theatre production of classic musical CABARET. The cross-dressing OCEAN'S TWELVE funnyman is in talks to play the bowler-hatted character made famous by LIZA MINNELLI in the 1972 movie of the same name. A source tells British newspaper the Daily Mirror, "Who would be better to play the lively, raunchy, kitsch part than Izzard?" The production is set to open at the West End's Theatre Royal in June 2007.
