THE BOURNE IDENTITY - IS DAMON BOURNE TO RUN?

THE BOURNE IDENTITY producer FRANK MARSHALL wants to make five movies in the Bourne series and is desperate to convince star MATT DAMON to sign on for all of them.

Damon is on board to reprise his role as JASON BOURNE, an amnesiac trying to piece together his past, for the third film in the series, THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM, which starts shooting in August (06).

The books by author ROBERT LUDLUM, on which the film series are loosely based, ended with Ultimatum, but Marshall says he can envision five Bourne films in all.

He says, "It's kinda up to Matt Damon. Maybe to five (films)...at some point he's (Jason Bourne) gotta find out who he is."

Marshall says writers are being brought in to suggest possible scenarios for the fourth and fifth films, according to website MovieHole.net.
