KATE HUDSON - HUDSON CASHES IN WITH CHAT SHOW BABY GIFTS

Movie star KATE HUDSON is finding that being a new celebrity mum has its benefits when she's promoting a new movie - because chat show hosts give you gifts.

The actress daughter of GOLDIE HAWN has been doing the rounds on America's chat show circuit this past week (beg24MAY04), promoting new movie RAISING HELEN - and now she's laden with gifts for five-month-old tot RYDER.

When she appeared on JAY LENO's TONIGHT SHOW on Thursday (27MAY04), he presented her with a microphone rattle and a LOS ANGELES DODGERS cap feeding system.

And ELLEN DeGENERES got creative when she asked her designers to create a baby suit modelled on the one Ryder's dad, rocker CHRIS ROBINSON, wore in a recent VOGUE photo shoot with his wife and child.

She even had the name of former BLACK CROWES star Robinson's new band NEW EARTH MUD printed on the back of the baby blazer.

DeGeneres topped that, however, by presenting a thrilled Hudson with a baby-sized electric guitar, so little Ryder could start strumming.
