Lovestruck actress KATIE HOLMES has shrugged off fears her union with TOM CRUISE will be blighted by the age gap between them.
The BATMAN BEGINS brunette, 26, insists her ever-smiling fiance's attitude transcends any difference in age, and the 17 year gulf between them is never an issue when it comes to romance.
She says, "I don't think about it at all. He's incredibly fit and youthful both in body and spirit.
"Age is much more a state of mind, I think."
