THE DARKNESS - HAWKINS INJURES WRIST ON TOUR

THE DARKNESS guitarist DAN HAWKINS has put the British rock band's current European tour in jeopardy, after injuring his wrist during a drunken escapade. The energetic strummer, who is frontman JUSTIN's younger brother, sprained his wrist after a concert in Finland while under the influence of alcohol, but has bravely vowed to continue with forthcoming gigs with the aid of strong pain relief. Dan explains, "Unfortunately, I got drunk and fell over getting out of a cab at the end of the night and sprained my wrist. "I'll be on painkillers for the next few shows - idiot."
