TERI HATCHER insists journalists have no excuse to print untruths about her, because she answers all press queries personally.

The sexy brunette is amazed the media still speculates about her supposed spat with her DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES co-star NICOLETTE SHERIDAN, who plays EDIE BRITT, as the two actresses are the best of friends.

She says, "When you send me an email, it's actually me.

"Then every week, I'll get a call from the tabloids asking, 'Is it true you threw a bottle in Nicolette Sheridan's face?'

"The best story was how I'm not invited to her wedding. We both had a good laugh because there is no wedding!

"In fact, we go riding with my daughter every week. That's how much we don't hate each other!"
