Guitarist DAVID GILMOUR has hit back at claims he is exploiting former band PINK FLOYD, by using their rock legacy to promote new projects.
THE WALL hitmaker claims he spent so long performing in the band, it became part of who he is.
He says, "Well, I am David Gilmour, the voice and guitar of Pink Floyd. I have been since I was 21.
"I can't see any reason at all when trying to promote my shows and my album, I shouldn't mention the fact that that's what I spent my life doing."
