GEORGE MICHAEL - GEORGE MICHAEL: 'I SOUND LIKE A GIRL'

Pop superstar GEORGE MICHAEL thinks he sounds like a "girl" on some of his old WHAM! hits.

The British singer credits the 1984 Wham! seasonal hit LAST CHRISTMAS as the worst he has recorded, because it built on a weak sentiment.

Michael says, "There are some things in pop music where you want to express feeling.

"I mean, for God's sake, on Last Christmas I sound like a girl - but it's almost because the actual sentiment is so weak.

"It's like that old soul thing where you can sing a woman into bed by sounding like a woman."
