Former DIFF'RENT STROKES star GARY COLEMAN has returned to TV screens - in commercials for a quick-cash loan company.

The 36-year-old actor, who lost his fortune with bad financial advice, is now recalling his past money woes in ads for CASHCALL, which deposits $5,000 (GBP2,700) or $10,000 (GBP5,500) into the accounts of those stuck in a tight spot.

He says in the clip, "Even if you make a good living, you can still get into money trouble - I know, I've been there...

"Cashcall helped me. They can help you too."

When he went to the Cashcall offices to close the loan he had taken out with the company, he was introduced to the California-based company's boss J PAUL REDDAM, who encouraged the former child star to pay off his loan by appearing in Cashcall ads.
