JENNIFER GARNER - GARNER'S PROFESSIONALISM HELPED HER FILM LOVE SCENES WITH EX-LOVER

JENNIFER GARNER credits her firm professionalism with enabling her to film love scenes with former boyfriend MICHAEL VARTAN on hit US TV show ALIAS.

The ELECTRA actress believes the solid friendship they enjoyed before their romance blossomed has enabled them to overcome any difficulties last year's (04) break-up could have caused on the set of the spy series.

Garner, who is now dating actor BEN AFFLECK, says, "We've always separated work from what was happening between us personally, so it never felt enmeshed.

"We were talking today about how lucky we are that we are such good friends and what a nightmare this year could could've been if we weren't."

Of filming a love scene for the first episode of the current series, she adds, "There have been moments where it's weird, of course.

"But we have been such good friends for so long that we are doing fine with it, because we love working together."
