OASIS - GALLAGHER BLASTS FRANZ AND KAISER CHIEFS

Outspoken OASIS star NOEL GALLAGHER has labelled rival bands FRANZ FERDINAND and KAISER CHIEFS as "indie s**t".

The IMPORTANCE OF BEING IDLE hitmaker, who has a regular habit of belittling rival rockers, hates the fashion sense of the bands currently filling the charts, and sees their music as weak.

He says, "Within that realm of indie s**t, Franz Ferdinand is about as good as it gets. TAKE ME OUT is a tune that wins hands down but, really, it's f**king indie rubbish.

"We were at the NME awards last year and we were the only ones not sat there with shirts and ties on. Everyone else was there in school uniforms, it was like being at a school disco."
