NELLY FURTADO - FURTADO STORMS US CHARTS WITH COMEBACK

NELLY FURTADO's comeback as an R+B star is complete - her new single PROMISCUOUS is the US pop chart's biggest gainer. The Canadian singer's collaboration with rap producer TIMBALAND is shooting up the Billboard Hot 100 and has only been kept off the top of the charts by DANIEL POWTER's BAD DAY and rapper CHAMILLIONAIRE's RIDIN', which reigns at number one for a second successive week. AMERICAN IDOL rocker CHRIS DAUGHTRY leads a pair of releases from the fifth season of the TV talent show, scoring the chart's highest debut with WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE at number 43. Idol winner TAYLOR HICKS' TAKIN' IT TO THE STREETS debuts at number 69.
