ANNA FRIEL's husband DAVID THEWLIS is so determined not to miss seeing his three-month-old daughter GRACIE's early days, he's bought a camera phone so he can see and speak to her every day.

Work commitments mean HARRY POTTER star THEWLIS is filming in America, and Friel credits modern technology with making the split bearable.

She says, "I miss him so much and I know he misses us.

"Babies change so much every day when they're little so the camera is a life-saver. It means David sees Gracie every day, making being apart that little bit easier to bear."
