FOO FIGHTERS - FOO FIGHTERS CONFIRM ACOUSTIC GIGS

FOO FIGHTERS have finally confirmed they're to perform an acoustic tour to accompany the softer half of their recent album IN YOUR HONOR.

The double album, which hard-rocking on one disc, and acoustic on the other, has long sparked reports the DAVE GROHL-fronted band would play an unplugged series of concerts.

Drummer TAYLOR HAWKINS tells MTV.com, "We told everybody we're gonna do some acoustic touring, so I guess we'd better.

"Instead of going out there and sweating my butt off every night, I'll be playing with my brushes quietly and stuff.

"I think it'll be good for us, though, as musicians, to go out and explore that dynamic."

Dates for the acoustic road trip have yet to be announced.
