British dance star FATBOY SLIM is so desperate to get tickets to see ENGLAND play at the EURO 2004 soccer tournament in Portugal, he offered to perform a free gig in the Mediterranean country.

The WEAPONS OF CHOICE star - who scheduled a tour in the Japan and South Korea in 2002 just so he could catch his country playing in the WORLD CUP there - has reportedly contacted the organisers of Portugal's SUPER BOCK SUPER ROCK festival and offered to play a set in return for hard-to-get tickets for this month's (JUN04) matches.

A source says, "He is a massive football fan and tickets are changing hands for up to 2,000 Euros each."
