Scottish acting hunk EWAN McGREGOR and TEXAS frontwoman SHARLEEN SPITERI are excitedly considering plans to record a charity song together.

Speaking at the launch of a children's charity campaign in London yesterday (13MAY03), the sexy pair admitted they would jump at the chance to record a duet for a good cause.

STAR WARS star McGregor, 32, says, "I'd love to do a charity single. Maybe we could do WE ARE THE WORLD wearing huge headphones, as we gently swayed our heads from side to side."

Striking Spiteri, 33, enthusiastically adds, "That would be brilliant."
