Rap superstar EMINEM is sticking to essentials on his current British tour, and keeping his entourage minimal.

The hip-hopper, who this week (begs23JUN03) brought his ANGER MANAGEMENT tour to England, Scotland and Ireland, was reported to be splashing out tens of thousands of dollars on minders and staff.

But, insiders insist, the SLIM SHADY star is not as extravagant as people make out.

A source says, "People think Eminem has this huge entourage, but he doesn't. He's not like J.LO. All the people that travel with him have a specific role.

"MARSHALL brings a DJ, his band D12, a tour manager and his manager. It's not a great big travelling circus like some stars that come over from the US."
