ELTON JOHN - ELTON PAYS .15 MILLION FOR FAILED LAW SUITS

SIR ELTON JOHN has paid out an estimated $12-$15 million (GBP8-GBP10 million) to settle lost lawsuits against his former accountants and management company.
The flamboyant popstar sued accountancy firm PRICE WATERHOUSE two years ago (01) for allegedly mishandling his financial affairs, but lost the case after taking it to Britain's Court of Appeal.
John, 56, has now finally paid Waterhouse costs of around $4.5 million (GBP3 million) days before their writ to recover their legal outlay was due to be heard in court.
Together with his estimated settlement with JOHN REID ENTERPRISES, John has now paid the multi-million figure to settle his ill-fated legal action.
