ELISHA CUTHBERT refused to go nude for her role in THE GIRL NEXT DOOR - even though she plays a porn star in the film.

The 21-year-old Canadian beauty, a former foot model, was adamant she'd keep all of her clothes on during filming, forcing bosses to comprise on scenes where she was required to strip.

24 actress Elisha says, "It was an issue because I wanted to be the leading lady and it was about a porn star, and here I was saying to the studio, 'Hey guys, I don't wanna be naked. I wanna be able to do this movie without showing any nudity.'

"That was tough thing to do. I was stubborn and I said, 'I am the best person for this part and I think we can make this work without doing such a thing.'

"But it was, like, conversations with lawyers and managers about how much we were gonna show and much we weren't gonna show."
