CARMEN ELECTRA insists she is not a nymphomaniac even though she told a journalist she thought about sex every 20 seconds.

The former BAYWATCH beauty, who is married to JANE'S ADDICTION rocker DAVE NAVARRO, insists she would need help if she considered making love as much as men do - and was only teasing a reporter with her comments about having erotic thoughts all the time.

Electra, 33, explains, "This writer said to me, 'It's been reported that men think about sex every 20 seconds, how often do you think about sex?'

"And I said, 'Every 20 seconds'. People think that I actually think about sex every 20 seconds.

"If I thought about sex that much, I would definitely have some kind of addiction."
