CLINT EASTWOOD - EASTWOOD, FREEMAN AND SWANK TO TEAM UP FOR BOXING MOVIE

CLINT EASTWOOD has announced he will follow his award-winning movie MYSTIC RIVER by directing, producing and starring in MILLION DOLLAR BABY.

HILARY SWANK and MORGAN FREEMAN are in negotiations to star alongside Eastwood in the movie, which will start filming in June (04).

In the film, Eastwood will play a fighter-turned-trainer who runs a gym with fellow former boxer Freeman. They are approached by a young woman, to be played by Swank, who is determined to begin a boxing career.

The film, which will put Eastwood and Freeman together for the first time since 1992's UNFORGIVEN, is based on two short stories from the collection ROPE BURN by FX TOOLE.
