CLINT EASTWOOD - EASTWOOD WORKS ALONGSIDE A YOUNGER VERSION OF HIMSELF
Hollywood actor CLINT EASTWOOD recently took on one of his most challenging roles to date - polishing scenes in a movie he starred in 37 years ago.
Eastwood's 1966 flick THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY has had 14 minutes of newly restored footage added to it, with the extended version of the flick airing on American TV screens last night (11MAY03).
And restoring scenes from the film required the 72-year-old actor to re-dub the voice of his quick-shooting, soft-spoken character, the MAN WITH NO NAME.
He says, "It was odd looping someone 37 years younger. It was kind of like looping my son... That was a long time ago.
"It's hard to remember the plot line of the whole movie, much less those scenes. I haven't seen that in so many years."
