BOB DYLAN - DYLAN: I WASN'T THE TOASTMASTER OF ANY GENERATION

Reclusive musical legend BOB DYLAN has struck out at the belief he was the spokesperson for the swinging sixties generation.
Not only does the THE TIMES THEY ARE A-CHANGING singer hate being defined by what other people think of him, he found the added pressure he faced during his heyday too much to deal with.
He ponders, "Not only did I not want it, but I didn't need it. I couldn't understand it either. None of us like to be defined by what other people think of us.
"I wasn't the toastmaster of any generation and that notion had to be pulled up by the roots."
