DANNY DYER - DYER SLAMS 'HOBBIT' WOOD

Gritty British actor DANNY DYER has hit out at ELIJAH WOOD's efforts to play a soccer hooligan in GREEN STREET, insisting the diminutive star should stick to playing hobbits.

Dyer, who starred in rival yob movie THE FOOTBALL FACTORY, slams the LORD OF THE RING actor's appearance as a gang member as totally miscast.

He says of the critically panned film, "It was a pile of rubbish, absolute s**t, which pleased me because they had such a big budget and I would have been gutted if it had been better than The Football Factory.

"But how can you have Elijah Wood - a f**king hobbit - playing a football hooligan? He's four foot with a nice little baby face."
