VALLEY OF THE DOLLS star PATTY DUKE is in hospital near her Idaho home, awaiting heart-bypass surgery.
The 57-year-old actress - currently married to her fourth husband, firefighter MIKE PEARCE - will undergo single-bypass open heart surgery at the Kootenai Medical Center in Couer d'alene.
Her manager MITCHELL STUBBS tells PAGESIX.COM, "Miss Duke is in excellent health.
"Because she is in excellent health, doctors expect her to be fully recovered by the end of the month."
