OLYMPIA DUKAKIS - DUKAKIS CAUGHT UP IN TERRORIST SCARE

OSCAR winner OLYMPIA DUKAKIS was caught up in a terrorist plot to follow up the 9/11 attacks on America just weeks after planes collided with the Twin Towers.

The MOONSTRUCK star was filming new movie THE INTENDED in Malaysia when the tragedy occurred and flew back to America two weeks later for her son's wedding.

Her Malaysian Airlines plane became part of an international security scare when it was discovered a fellow passenger was a possible terrorist.

She recalls, "When we arrived in Frankfurt, Germany, they refused to let us disembark and told us we all had to take out our passports and descend onto the runway out of the back of the airplane with our passports held high in our hands.

"We were met by 25 soldiers with machine guns. They had gotten some message that there was a terrorist on board. They examined everybody and took all our luggage off.

"Then we get back on and discover that there's somebody who hasn't come back on and he's disappeared. Then all of the luggage went out again. I don't know how many hours we were there."
