KEITH DUFFY - DUFFY CONFIRMS BOYZONE WILL REFORM

Singer KEITH DUFFY has confirmed BOYZONE are planning to reform for a "project" following their recent unification on a British TV show.
The fivesome - who split five years ago and have endured acrimonious relationships in the meantime - met for the first time in four years on the set of THE GAMES earlier this month (APR04), and now Duffy admits he's keen for the boyband to perform again.
He says, "We've not been together for almost five years and since our appearance on The Games, there's been a lot of stories about us reforming.
"We never really broke up. There was a bit of a war between members, which had been exaggerated by the press but we all said, 'F*** what happened, let's move forward and forget the bad times.'
"Since then there's been a load of interest from promoters. This Christmas we've been offered a lot of money to perform. Although doing it for the money is the wrong reason, we aren't stupid.
"We would like to put closure on the band and have a farewell tour. But it would be a project, not a career."
