Duchovny admits he dropped the treat into Vardalos' purse without her knowledge on the set of their comedy CONNIE AND CARLA - and he's yet to hear if she's discovered it.

He says,"Because I was supposedly the only straight man on the set, Nia had toilet-papered my trailer, shaving-creamed it and (did) tons of things to it to welcome me as a prank.

"So I decided that there was only one way to retaliate, which was to take a POLAROID of my a** naked and bury it deep in her wallet, so that maybe some time in the near future she'd be paying, or maybe she'd be out with her husband.

"It's probably still in there!"
