DREW BARRYMORE is keen to become the guru of first-date dining after sharing her secrets with American teen magazine SEVENTEEN.

The CHARLIE'S ANGELS star claims age and experience have taught her that it's best to pig out on a first date - so as not to make your potential beau feel uncomfortable.

Sharing her tips, Drew says, "A lot of people say don't eat, that you'll turn him off and he'll think you're a pig.

"But guess what? Eventually you will be on the couch with your stomach hanging out, eating Chinese food in front of each other so why wait?

"If a girl doesn't eat on a date, it makes the guy self conscious about what he eats. He knows you're pretending."

The free-spirited actress also offers girls to beware of bad breath on a first date by watching what they eat.

She adds, "Eat something lovely and sexy - fruit, bread, apples. Go European. Sit on a curb and eat a pizza together."
