Twice-divorced actress DREW BARRYMORE believes there is a guardian angel looking out for her well-being.

Following a reckless childhood plagued by alcohol and drug problems, the pretty CHARLIE'S ANGELS star is confident her grandfather, actor JOHN BARRYMORE, who died of alcoholism in 1942, is keeping a watchful eye on her.

Drew says, "I feel him around me. I have conversations with him in my head.

"For some reason, family to me is closely associated with, like, strapping 500lb bricks to your feet and jumping in the water."
