Legendary rapper DR DRE was out of control after the success of NWA.

Dre now admits that after the group, which also included ICE CUBE, EAZY E and MC REN, released EEFIL4ZAGGIN he went on a mad spree of wild-spending and partying.

He says, "I was out of control. I was wildin' out, partying, women. I think the business and the fame and fortune just sucked me in and I had to step back and see that I was ruining everything I had worked so hard at building."

However Dre has not still apologised for an incident in which he kicked and punched TV presenter DEE BARNES after she hosted a show which criticised NWA.

After settling a claim by the presenter out of court, he said, "I was in the wrong. But it's not like I broke the bitch's arm."
