ALLY MCBEAL - DOWNEY JR'S NANNY DREAMS

Former ALLY McBEAL star ROBERT DOWNEY JR is planning to semiretire from films in five years time - to become a travelling nanny.

The actor, who was dismissed from the show after failing to kick his drug habit, plans to cut back on his workload and concentrate on joining his ex-wife, singer DEBORAH FALCONER, on the road with their son INDIO.

He says, "I'll become a travelling nanny and I'll do movies every once in a while just to mix it up."
