THE DOVES - DOVES IN PAPARAZZI CAR CHASE

British band DOVES were targeted in a high-speed car chase recently after paparazzi mistook them for Irish popstar BRIAN McFADDEN.

The THERE GOES THE FEAR rockers were accosted by the photographers when leaving their lavish London hotel in a celebrity blacked-out vehicle.

Frontman JIMI GOODWIN says, "It was hilarious, a full-on car chase.

"Brian McFadden is staying at our hotel and they must have thought he was in a blacked-out people carrier.

"We had three of them following us and we stopped at some posh shops - not to buy anything, just to get some carrier bags and bring them back to the van.

"If we'd had more time we would have gone to a strip bar too."
