PETE DOHERTY - DOHERTY TRIES AGAIN WITH BABYSHAMBLES ALBUM

Troubled rocker PETE DOHERTY is returning to the studio to work on a new album after storming out on his band last week (14APR05).
The former drug addict was being watched over by a burly minder employed by Doherty's label ROUGH TRADE - who feared the singer's unpredictable behaviour may spiral out of control while working on the forthcoming BABYSHAMBLES release.
But Doherty, 26, still indulged in his famously wayward antics before halting recording completely and leaving in a rage after the pressure of being under scrutiny became too much.
A source says, "Pete had a bodyguard to keep an eye on him while he was facing his court case. But even after the blackmail and robbery charges were dropped the bouncer was kept on.
"Pete felt he couldn't work with the guy around. At one point he drove a limo into a field. It got stuck in mud and had to be towed out. He eventually walked out completely."
