Rapper DMX was arrested on Friday (15APR05) on suspicion of driving with a suspended licence, after he crashed into a police car in New York.

DMX, real name EARL SIMMONS, drove his car into the back of another vehicle, which smashed into the rear of a police cruiser resulting in two officers being treated for minor injuries.

The DEF JAM VENDETTA star was released after being charged, but his reputation for dangerous driving is worsening - he was arrested on three driving charges in January (05), and pleaded guilty to driving while on drugs last year (JUN04), after his car hurtled into a gate at New York's Kennedy Airport.
