Heavyweight Hollywood directors QUENTIN TARANTINO and CHRIS COLUMBUS almost came to blows during a heated row last year (04).
Tarantino let slip about the battle during last week's (18-24OCT05) Hollywood Film Festival, reports the New York Daily News.
He refused to reveal what provoked his battle with HARRY POTTER director Columbus - simply offering the regret, "I should have beaten the s**t out of him then."
