THE DIPLOMATS - DIPLOMATS STAR SLAMS JAY-Z FOR TOUR DEBACLE

THE DIPLOMATS star JUELEZ SANTANA has slammed labelmate JAY-Z for causing the cancellation of their record company's proposed summer tour.

Santana was due to appear on the ROC ARMY TOUR last month (MAY03) with every artist from ROC-A-FELLA records, apart from Jay-Z, who declined the offer.

However, when Jay-Z - who is dating DESTINY'S CHILD BEYONCE KNOWLES - announced plans to tour with 50 CENT in the ROC THE MIC TOUR, the Roc Army project was shelved - leaving Santana fuming that Jay-Z undermined an event designed to showcase the talent on his own label.

He explains, "The fact was, we was supposed to be doing Roc-A-Fella's tour, (and it would include) everybody on Roc-A-Fella except Jay-Z. Doesn't make sense to me.

"Jay is on Roc-A-Fella and he's going on tour with 50 Cent. Why are you not going on the Roc Army Tour? I have no problems with this, though. I'm just saying-it's a Roc-A-Fella tour and it's your label."

Santana, 19, was particularly frustrated when every act on the proposed Roc Army tour then got called up the Roc The Mic tour - apart from The Diplomats.

He says of the GIRLS, GIRLS, GIRLS superstar, "Basically you leaving us with no tour. We're caked up anyway. We gonna find other ways to do it."
