VIN DIESEL - DIESEL TO GET FAST AND FURIOUS AGAIN?

Hollywood tough guy VIN DIESEL is considering reprising his role as DOMINIC TORETTO in the third FAST AND THE FURIOUS film - as long as he gets to approve the script.

The XXX star was dropped from the 2003 sequel 2 FAST 2 FURIOUS after demanding a $20 million (GBP11 million) salary - ten times his pay to appear in the original film.

Studios UNIVERSAL instead opted for R+B star TYRESE - but Hollywood trade papers claim Diesel and Toretto are poised to return to the franchise.

Diesel is reportedly considering starring in the third film - which will show Toretto jetting off to Japan to help a friend in trouble with local gangsters.

Diesel also appears to have adjusted his salary demands - after only receiving $11 million (GBP6 million) to star in sci-fi thriller THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK.

The third racing film is scheduled for a summer 2005 release.
