Singer DIDO has fallen for a British soccer star with a badboy reputation, following an intimate date.

The NO ANGEL star, 32, reportedly enjoyed a romantic meal with temperamental LEEDS UNITED player ALAN SMITH, 23 - even though she supports rival team ARSENAL - and the pair have made arrangements to meet up again when she returns from New York.

A source says, "Dido's always had a bit of a thing for Alan.

"Word got back to him and it all took off from there.

"They had planned to meet this weekend because Leeds were in London to play Arsenal, but Dido had to go to the States so they had to put that on hold.

"The relationship is just a bit of fun for both of them.

"Alan split his girlfriend recently so is also young, free and single."
