DEEP THROAT GOES MAINSTREAM

Raunchy 1972 film DEEP THROAT is set to hit British screens for the first time ever after being banned from mainstream cinema release in the UK.

The American porn sensation, which rocketed LINDA LOVELACE to fame, may have been seen all over the US, but up to now the only opportunity to view it in the UK has been on video or at sex cinemas.

But the movie is expected to screen at independent chains imminently after the shock turnaround, and it will be shown alongside a documentary, entitled INSIDE DEEP THROAT, which investigates the effect of the scandalous film and how it pushed pornography forward.

Lovelace has been a fierce campaigner against porn since the original release of the LOU PERRY film.
