THE DARKNESS - DARKNESS FEUD OVER ALBUM NAME

NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY

British rockers THE DARKNESS are embroiled in a serious row - over the name for their follow-up album to 2003's PERMISSION TO LAND.

Flamboyant singer JUSTIN HAWKINS has failed to settle on a title for their forthcoming LP with bandmates DAN HAWKINS, FRANKIE POUILLAN and ED GRAHAM.

And following months of suggestions and arguments, he admits they're no nearer to picking a name for the disc, which is still unfinished.

Hawkins says, "At the moment the rest of the band are on the instrumentals. Then I go back into the studio to finish the lead vocals.

"We've spent three months arguing about the name without getting anywhere. We're still rowing about it."
