EMINEM - D-12 GOING BACK TO THE STUDIO
Hip-hop collective D-12 are planning to record a new album despite the murder of bandmate PROOF last month (APR06). Proof - real name DESHAUN HOLTON - allegedly shot US Army veteran KEITH BENDER during an argument at the CCC club in Detroit, Michigan, on 11 April, before he was reportedly shot by Bender's cousin MARIO ETHERIDGE. But the EMINEM-fronted outfit insist their late colleague would be devastated if they ceased recording together because of his death. KON ARTIS - real name DENAUN PORTER - says, "If people think that because he's not here we're not going to keep doing what we're doing, then they're wrong." The MY BAND hitmakers are set to begin recording next month (JUN06) when bandmember SWIFT is released from jail after breaking his probation agreement by attending Proof's funeral.
