Actress CYBILL SHEPHERD is set to infuriate American home-making expert MARTHA STEWART with comments she made about her preparations for portraying the domestic diva.

The former MOONLIGHTING star, 53, plays Stewart, 61, in the upcoming unauthorised TV movie MARTHA INC. And while she insists her has great admiration for Stewart, Shepherd's description of how she readied herself for the role has raised a few eyebrows.

She says, "Martha's a few years older than I am. We handled that with a little make-up. And I put on a little weight, and they padded me."
