THE GIRL NEXT DOOR beauty ELISHA CUTHBERT is set to star in horror remake HOUSE OF WAX.

The stunning 21-year-old, who made her name in smash hit TV series 24, will appear in the new version of 1953 classic HOUSE OF WAX 3-D, which starred VINCENT PRICE.

Advert director JAUME COLLET-SERRA will direct the fright fest, about a bunch of teens who run into killers who enjoy burying their victims in wax.

The movie is being produced by LETHAL WEAPON's JOEL SILVER, GOTHIKA's SUSAN LEVIN, and FORREST GUMP director ROBERT ZEMECKIS.
