RUSSELL CROWE - CROWE SAVES MONEY WITH NEW BAND NAME
NEWS BY ARTIST ALPHABETICALLY |

RUSSELL CROWE has laughed off reports his latest band name THE ORDINARY FEAR OF GOD relates to a new found love of religion - insisting it was just the cheapest option.
The New Zealand-born star, who recently dissolved his original group THIRTY ODD FOOT OF GRUNTS, has revealed he created the latest moniker so it used the same initials and he wouldn't have to rebrand his equipment.
He says, "The old band was Thirty Odd Foot Of Grunts, that became known as T. O. F. O. G.
"I needed a name with the same initials, so I didn't have to buy new t-shirts for the road crew and new luggage labels etc.
"There is no deep spiritual meaning to it - just the chance to save a few bucks."
