CRASH - CRASH STAR TO DAZZLE OSCARS IN HAYWORTH'S JEWELS

CRASH star KATHLEEN YORK is set to dazzle at the Oscars on Sunday (05MAR06) by sporting movie legend RITA HAYWORTH's jewels on her feet. Shoe designer STUART WEITZMAN has crafted the gems into this year's (06) 'million dollar' shoe - a tradition he has been part of for years. And York, who played OFFICER JOHNSON in the Oscar-nominated movie and also penned music for the film, has been chosen to wear the sparkling shoes on the red carpet at the Academy Awards. This year's shoes are extra special as they mark the first time Hayworth's daughter, PRINCESS AGA KHAN, has ever allowed her mother's jewels to be publicly seen and to be used in this way.
