CRANBERRIES - CRANBERRIES SINGER SUED BY FORMER NANNY

CRANBERRIES singer DOLORES O'RIORDAN is being sued by former nanny JOY FAHY, who's accusing the Irish star of wrongful imprisonment.

Fahy claims O'Riordan and husband DON BURTON kept her captive at a remote Canadian holiday home and threatened to confiscate her passport after she raised concerns about the welfare of their baby son TAYLER.

Fahy, 34 - who is now fighting depression - told DUBLIN HIGH COURT she confronted the couple about an incident where Burton took his infant son on a boat trip without a life jacket, whilst holding a can of beer.

She alleges Burton flew into a drunken rage, at which point Fahy ran to her bedroom and barricaded herself in. The angry pair then reportedly took her passport.

Burton and O'Riordan claim that Fahy - who is seeking compensation of $18,000 (GBP10,000), a Jeep Cherokee and a deposit for an apartment - walked away from her job. The case continues on 20 April (04).
