DANIEL CRAIG - CRAIG DESTINED FOR STARDOM

British star DANIEL CRAIG knew he was destined for stardom even as a young child - and shocked his father TIM by telling him he wanted to be an actor during a family party.

The 37-year-old is set to join Hollywood's upper echelon if rumours he has been signed up to take over from PIERCE BROSNAN as JAMES BOND are confirmed, and realise his childhood dream.

Craig's father Tim, 61, says, "I remember having some friends over and Daniel was just weaving in and out between their legs. One asked him what he was going to do when he grew up and without breaking stride he said, 'Be an actor.'

"I remember at the time blinking and doing a double take, because he said it with such certainty and he was so small."
