R'n'B sensation CRAIG DAVID is set to buy the penthouse suite in the one-time London headquarters of the British secret services.

The WHAT'S YOUR FLAVA singer has offered cash deposits for the $3.2 million (GBP2.1 million) apartment on the top floor of the Thames-side building which once housed MI5 and MI6.

He has also put his name down on a second property worth $1.05 million (GBP700,000) in fashionable West London district Notting Hill.

Until now, British David has been living out of hotels in the English capital.

A source at David's record label tells London newspaper THE EVENING STANDARD, "Moving to London is certainly on Craig's mind, that's all I can say."
